A Story In a Classroom

In Sekolah Kebangsaan Penyu, two students were quarreling at the school field during recess time. Lets read what happened.

Abu:
You should not call Mr Badrul "Cikgu". Only me and my friends can call him "cikgu". You can call him anything else except "cikgu".

Ah Meng:
He had been my father's teacher, my brother's teacher and now he is teaching me BM. My father and my brother had called him "cikgu" since that time and with what reason you don't allow me to call him "Cikgu"?

Abu:
Don't talk about your father's story. It is the right of us to use the word "cikgu". You can call him "guru", "teacher", "laoshi" or whatever it is. It is disrespect toward us if you call him "cikgu". We won't allow that to happen anyhow. If you want to make it happen, step over my dead body!"

Ah Meng left the field and went to the school counsellor. The school counsellor say, "you can use "cikgu". The difference is only the language. There is no problem with it." Abu are not satisfied with the decision made by the counsellor. He gathered all his friends and had protest in the classroom.

Headmaster:
I am powerless to go against the students protesting in their own classroom.

Students: (gossiping)
Why last time Muthu protesting and get detention but this time he is powerless?

Disciplinary teacher:
I didn't give permission to any students to protest in this school. Classroom is also part of this school!

Headmaster:
I'll leave this matter to disciplinary teacher.

That afternoon after school, all students went back. Unluckily something happened. Ah Meng's table had been vandalised and someone put a fire. Luckily the gardener saw the fire and put it off. No students were hurt.

Students: (gossiping)
Eh, Ah Meng's table get burned because of that issue. Be careful. Put all your notebooks and bags away in case anything worse might happen.

Disciplinary teacher:
I will cane anybody who spread rumours about the burning table. Now get back to class!

Students: (gossiping)
Why disiplinary teacher warn us instead of finding the culprit? We better get back to class before anything happens to us.

Abu & friends:
We condemn the person who set fire in school. But we still stand firm in our principle, Ah Meng cannot use "teacher" to address Mr Badrul.

In Sekolah Kebangsaan Kura-kura.

John:
You heard anything about "Cikgu" issue in SK Penyu? Why such stupid problem becomes a crisis in that school?

Endau:
I don't know? We had been calling all the teachers "cikgu" and there is no problem about it.

Siti:
Hahaha. Lets just open our eyes and see what jokes we will get by the end of the day.

Three of them:
Hahahaha... haha... haha... ha....

Now, lets Mr Badrul speaks!

Mr Badrul:
Hei, nama saya Badrul! B-A-D-R-U-L! I dont care how you call me, it doesn't matter as long as all the students listen to my advice and follow the school rules. Why fight over such stupid and tiny matter when there are still other important things to solve in school? All of you forgotten about the theft of a refrigerator in school, the students who are dead after been called to the office, the lost of 220 dollars in the school compound project?

Shame on you!!!!!!!!!!!!
