kepochi~

Kepochi is a name given to those busy body people...

We discuss about the cases we came upon previously in the headquarter office and we all agreed that there are lots of "kepochi" people who only knows to be busy body but not helping at all.

A friend of mine share her side of story when she come upon am accident involving an old man who fell down after been hit by a car. There are lots of people around but no body is helping him until my friend arrived on the scene. After she start helping, people started to come around and tell her she should do this and do that. That's the kepochis who only talk and not walk the way they talk. That's why we call them kepochi as their main contribution to the scene is only kaypo-ing around instead of helping on the very first moment.

I also do come upon such incidents during an accident happening in Sibu. All the people involved gather and surround the casualties and not helping. When i started to help them, they come by and say whole lots of things that make you want to puke on their face. The worst part is that they suggest and insist me to treat the patient in a way that will harm the patient.

Another "kepochi" situation that constantly becoming more and more serious is there are more and more professional reporters on the scene when anything bad happened. Those professional looking so-called "reporters" holding their camera phone snapping photos from the best angle. I bet they might want to interview the victims if they have a microphone with them, as if each of them own a newspaper company and a tv station.

Kaypoh-ing doesn't make our community better, so when anyone saw an accident, please help them and stop making comments and stupid suggestions if you are unable to help. You might as well make a good use of your high tech camera phone to make a simple call to the ambulance. This will make a difference to the community and to stay away from "kepochi" group of busy body.
