长辈时常对我们说：“你们年轻一辈现在都很幸福”。
现在我也是觉得“你们年轻一辈现在都很幸福”。今天看到一些中学生带着笔记型电脑就觉得羡慕，也有些妒忌。我中学的时候，周围的朋友都开始拿手机我却没有。那时最流行的是nokia 3310（我知道现在只能拿来敲螃蟹壳）。曾经暗示过母亲想要拥有一架，但弄得自己一鼻子灰。偶尔只能拿妈妈的手机来过过瘾。
在我开始工作后，我才开始用自己赚来的钱买一些自己想要的东西。自己赚的钱，花的时候也特别小心，因为自己明白这些钱不是容易得来的。我想要买一架手提电脑，想了很久却还没买。理由很简单，弟弟明年要进大学，这笔钱只能用来买手提电脑给他，自己还是用回桌子上的“恐龙”型电脑。
我永远记得黄讲师说的一句话：“你的车是银行的，我的车是我的”。虽然我没有精美的手提电脑，也没有比头脑还先进手提电话，更没有“炫炫”的汽车，但我拥有的每一样东西都是自己的，用自己的血汗换来的。我对自己拥有的“石器时代手机”，“两粒轮子的Honda”，“恐龙体积型电脑”感到骄傲，因为全都是我自己的，不是老爸的，不是老妈的，更不是银行的。

Parents & education
In my school there is a student who never bath in half a year. He also didn't wash his clothes for a long time. It sounds ridiculous to us but people like this still exist in malaysia. Everywhere he past by will leave a terrible smell. Some people will say "tell him to take bath". For God sake, their whole family lead this kind of lifestyle. They feel comfortable with their ways of life. You think a few sentences can change their behavior? We did so many things, advice, gave him soap, force him, but til the end everything is in vain.
Teaching had been different experience here. Teaching here is not about knowledge but ways of living a life. So, there goes all the answering skills into the dustbin. Parents did not find knowledge important. They send children to school because children were well fed in school. Apart from that, they want to void legal issues for not sending children to school. Education is about sending children to school, they held no responsible towards education. It is a sad reality. Despite all the wealth we get from petrol mining, we had far left behind in terms of education.
Should we open another school for parents? Educate the parents before they send their child to school? Teach them about parents responsibility in education? I leave a space to let everyone think about it.

Dedicate to a friend of mine
Passion is like burning fire, will start with woods and sparkles of fire then it ends when you finish your wood. This include all kinds of passion: love, volunteerism... The way you handle the fire will decide how long your fire burns.
If you throw all the woods at one time, the flame will burn high and you get a warm surrounding from the fire. After all the woods finished burning, then the fire will slowly faded and put off. It is one time effort and the rest of the night you will not get any warm from the fire. Oppositely, if you burn the woods slowly, it will not be so warm as you burn all the woods in one time but it will last for a long time.
Think of your passions as the woods. How you use your passions? You burn it one time or otherwise? Do you feel satisfied with the way you use your passions?
If you don't feel satisfied, find some more woods and start burning again. But this time, use the woods you got wisely. Find your woods again...

Landmarks of towns in Sarawak
Some friend of mine thought that all towns in Sarawak were represented by a kind of fruit. Some of them are and some of them not. Below you can see some of the landmarks in Sarawak which resemble each unique town in Sarawak.
Kuching is most famous with it's cats. But actually "kuching" originated from the word mata kucing which is a kind of fruit we called "longan".
Sibu town is represented by swan. There is a once-upon-a-time story about local sibu people who are so poor but still keep their pet swan alive. Story about it will be kept for other time.
Sarikei is famous for it's sweet enormous juicy pinapples.
You have a chance to grab a look at the big seahorse if you got a chance to step into this oil city.
Peace is always represented by dove and so is Sri Aman. This town is previously known as Simanggang.
The biggest "King of Fruits" will be found when you drive pass Serian town. Most local are fans of durians. Some kampung folk even joked that who can't open a durian should be chase out of the kampung.

Saturday Dinner
There is a dinner at my house on Saturday night. Prepared everything before guests arrive. A few simple dishes but really appetizing since I don't always have chance to enjoy food at home.

tauhu with telur puyu with mushroom with jingzhen... Can't name it

Sweet and sour mangoes
Oranges + starfuit
Legendary Sarikei pineapple
And lastly, home made ice cream.I made it myself so must show off a bit. It is tasty!
