This is the first year i had a vote in my hand. I've read local newspapers, tv programs, news, internet blogs, and video clips from both opposition and ruling parties. I do get confused with many issues which they raise up, both with different argumentation, reasons and explanation. In Chinese we call that 公说公有理，婆说婆有理. At the end of the day, we as citizens still come back to the same old "no idea".
America, the wealthiest country in the world and well known for their liberalism in their elections had debates before election begins. Why not Malaysia adopt this more open way of letting citizens to understand and to compare the ideas of each competing parties? It does no harm to neither side, unless there is something not right and afraid to let the people know.
