Just back from a little discussion with my lecturer at a coffee shop. We discussed about some big projects for the coming few months. Then slowly we get astray from our topic when we reach the end of discussion and we come upon a verse which is interesting about politics. It sounds like this:
Ada udang di sebalik batu, udang lebih besar daripada batu
There is always plans and programs which seems good for the community, but behind all the good things we saw, there are bribery and self benefits. That's the "udang di sebalik batu". Then "udang lebih besar daripada batu" is talking about the benefits they get is much more than the amount spends for the "good deeds" they had done.
It's so normal in Malaysian society. What to say?
